Amazing Atmosphere!
“Our party of ten dined at The Farmers and were completely blown away by the food and decor. I recommend the Garlic Chilli Prawns and Garlic Mushrooms as starters; both were bursting with flavor. The Beef Fillet steak was tender and cooked perfectly to our desired medium-rare. Don't miss the Homemade Sticky Toffee for dessert - it was incredibly light and delicious. The staff were attentive and ensured our experience was enjoyable.” view full review
Convenient Parking
“The parking recommendation at The Farmers was very handy. For just £1, we found convenient parking close to the venue. It made our visit hassle-free, allowing us to focus on enjoying our meal instead of worrying about parking arrangements.” view full review

I had a generally pleasant stay, enjoying the lovely village location. though there were a few drawbacks. The room was nice but had a damp smell that was off-putting. The dining experience was mostly enjoyable, but minor details could be improved for a more outstanding visit.

My visit to The Farmers Ulverston was a mixed bag. The food was truly lovely, and the atmosphere had a cozy charm. However, the service was a letdown, particularly with drink orders and billing, which detracted from an otherwise enjoyable experience.

My visit to The Farmers in Ulverston was a mixed experience. While the atmosphere was warm and inviting, the food quality was inconsistent. I enjoyed the pizza, but the burger didn’t meet expectations, and the service felt a bit lacking at times.

I had a fantastic experience at The Farmers Ulverston during my stay. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and even though the prices were a bit high, the quality of the food definitely made it worth it. However, the noise level was a bit overwhelming, which made it hard to have a conversation at times.

I had a decent stay at The Farmers Ulverston, where the cottages were well-equipped, cozy, and in a perfect location. However, the check-in and check-out process was frustratingly inefficient, with long queues at the bar. The staff, while mostly pleasant, could improve their communication, especially during these busy times.

I appreciated the lovely lady who assisted us with our cottage but would suggest a proper reception area.
